I stayed in Aberdeen, Scotland at a very nice B&B, very quiet and comfortable room, good food (even if I had to cook myself sometimes, shocking!), run by a young couple, Zoe and Dev (what kind of a name is that, not very Scottish). They were very welcoming and did what they could to entertain me. I was a little jet lagged and I fear I wasn't the best company. But they learned to know me very quickly (how come?) so they took me to a whisky distillery and a ruined castle, which I both loved. They also did their best to find me a hairdresser who was able to turn my yellow-grey hair into its usual blond. In short, they tried to mitigate the shock of the return and for that I thank and love them.
I went back home (thank you Anne, for having kept my flat in order) and to work (thank you everybody for your enthusiasm welcoming me). I have now a new shelf in my closet, full of very strange but useful things like a belt to hide money, a Swiss knife with cork-screw or a Steripen... I also have more things in my living room, souvenirs from everywhere and pictures in my head.
More photos when Zoe will come back with her camera, because I kept forgetting mine at her flat when we left for a walk... Completely demobilized I was.
Thank you for having followed me through this blog and see you soon somewhere around the world.
