De retour au Montana/Back in Montana

Facile.

Ok. I know, you waited 2 weeks for this. I was really busy. I had 2 amazing weeks. I first went to a working ranch to help to move the cattle from the mountains to the valley. Not a piece of cake. 10 hours on the saddle, half an hour for lunch. That's it.  I quickly learned how to avoid pain. Easy. 2 Ibuprofens every 2 hours. At the end of the day, I was like wrapped in cotton, happy and drunk with clear water. I got 2 pairs of cattle (a pair is a Mum and baby) and a brand new shinny shinner, thanks to a branch in the way. But I led the party half way on the retun and I'm pretty proud of it.
I also spent an overnight in the mountains, to Barbara VanCleve's ranch, the most amazing woman photographer I ever met, 79 years old.
Last day at the ranch was also the last day of the season. I helped  removed shoes from the horses and drove mine bareback to his  winter meadows. I will never never forget this.
The second week was kind of quieter but full of magical moments spent in the Glacier National Park with my friend Heidi. Let's mention visits and strange encounters in  Helena, hikes amongst amazing surroundings, western country dance in Belgrade on Friday evening and of course going back "home" in Hawley Mountain Ranch, my favourite place in the whole world, where everything began a year ago.
Pictures when I'll come back in Belgium, no tv, phone or computer in the Wild Wild West.
Tomorrow a day ride in the mountain for a change :):):)
